Animal Policy and fee's
We originally adopted a 'no pets' policy for the Coach House Bed and Breakfast. However, as a family we ourselves have always had family pets. We have a cat 'Patsy' and a dog 'Misty' who live in the main house.
Since opening we have been asked on a number of occasions "will we accept pets". The Coach House already welcomes 'assistance dogs' and their owners, and, we have now extended that welcome to animals who can voucher for their owners.
So, if you feel that your owner is a responsible person
· who will keep you on a leader whilst in the garden,
· clean up any fouling you do,
· will make you as clean and dry as possible in the porch before entering the room,
· not leave you unattended in the room at anytime,
· keep you down off the furniture and beds,
· bring your favourite bed for you to sleep in,
· and you would like to come and stay in the Coach House in the garden annexe
· then owners must ring Carole on 01434 344779 to make arrangements before they book.
· In fairness to future guests, we will ensure all your pet hairs are removed from rugs, furniture, curtains etc after you departure, therefore £15 per stay is payable.
· We know that you will be well behaved, but, if any damage is done your owners must agree to pay a fee of £25 extra for a full valet and pay the cost of replacing damaged items.
